Prince Godswill Obioma, son to the late Registrar of National Examinations Council (NECO), Prof Godswill Obioma has debunked reports that his father was murdered.
According to Prince Obioma his father Prof Obioma died of an undisclosed illness, according to a letter he addressed to the Nigerian examination body.
Following the death of his father, Prince Obioma wrote to NECO’s Director of Human Resource Management, Mustapha K. Abdul to intimate the organization of the development.
In the letter, the son of the late NECO Registrar requested Abdul to notify the board, management and the entire staff of the Council of the development.
“We request that you kindly notify the Board, Management and the entire staff of the Council of this development. We shall keep you duly informed”.
The letter contradicts earlier reports that the NECO Registrar was murdered in Minna, capital of Niger State shortly after a visit to Abuja, the federal capital territory (FCT).
